| Marry Christmas and a very, very Happy New Year | |
Dear Friends, 2008 is going away leaving to us the pleasant souvenir of our last annual Raduno,“The Switzerland: Chocolate and Mountains”, lovely organized by Axel Marx with the essential support of Renato Perucchini. Three days of exciting driving through the beautiful landscapes of Canton Ticino, spent in the usual and serene atmosphere culminate in the warm and unforgettable hospitality in Marx Garage, always more fine and important. In the next year we will move from the mountains to the sea…and what a sea! The XII International Raduno of Registro Internationale Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 ( Genua, June 5-7), organized by Emanuele Morteo, very well supported by Nicolò Caffarena ( member of our Registro and President of Veteran Car Club Ligure), will be hold in the real hart of the famous Tigullio Gulf. We will exhibit our cars at Portofino, right in the little square just close to the sea and we will visit very nice places and will have social events in real exclusive locations as the beautiful Villa Spinola and the very prestigious Italian Yacht Club at Genua port. Please find enclosed the program and the entry form of our 2009 Raduno. In 2008 many our cars participated to various meetings, competitions, and expositions: two 2500s have been presented, with the usual success, at the recent “Fiera di Padova” in the stand of Veteran Car Club Ligure. Thanks a lot to Emanuele Morteo and our friends from Liguria for the enthusiasm and the disponibility shown even in this occasion. Our website is growing more and more and it has having more than 12000 contacts in the present year. May I remember to everyone that Registro and our website “www.6c2500.org” live due to the members annual fees? So, please, do not forget to sent to our Treasurer Claudio Giorgetti ( many thanks, Claudio, for what you always do in favour of our Registro) the 2009 fee . I also remember to all of you that our Registro official t-shirts are available at our … exclusive boutique ( always Claudio Giorgetti, of course!). We are cooperating with Alfa Romeo and some others international AROC , obviously together with RIAR, in planning the great events to celebrate (June 2010) among Milan, Monza and Balocco the 100th Alfa Romeo . We will inform you but, please , already schedule the 24th of June 2010 for the biggest Alfa Romeo event in the history.
